Short trip with visit to the salt mines and other interesting sights in and around Salzburg

Allow yourself to be transported 2500 years back in time. Once you are deep below the ground in the unique Bad Dürrnberg salt mine, you will be able to experience first-hand how the ancient Celts would mine for salt. In the Celtic village and the Celtic museum , you will discover a fascinating depiction of the hard life and tough work of the Celts.
The prince archbishops loved “white gold”, using it to finance the lavish building projects of baroque Salzburg, which we can still enjoy to this day.

The public bus stops right in front of the house and will take you on a comfortable 20-minute ride to the historic Old City of Salzburg, where your sightseeing and shopping expedition can begin. Afterwards, you can begin your personal city tour with the help of the 24-hour Salzburg Card. The city buses and all entrance fees for city sights, including Schloss Mirabell, Mozart’s birthplace, Hohensalzburg fortress, Hellbrunn palace and trick fountains, Salzach river cruises etc. are free.
