Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden

Ride the bus up the impressive Kehlstein Road, then take the luxurious Kehlstein lift up to Bergrestaurant Kehlsteinhaus, the Eagle's Nest. Here you can enjoy the wonderful panoramas of Salzburger and Berchtesgaden.

Cable Car up the Untersberg

The cable car runs every half-hour to the top of Salzburg City’s most dominant mountain. After the exciting ride, take time to soak up the beautiful scenery.
If you want to hike once you are at the top, you will need good hiking shoes and equipment

At Hallein’s outdoor pool at Schloss Wiespach or at the nearby “Forest Pool” in Anif, you will find the cooling refreshment you long for on hot summer’s days.
The lakes of the Salzkammergut are barely 45 minutes away by car.  The clear mountain lakes are generally a little cooler, though surrounded by truly beautiful countryside.
