ski regions of the Tennengau:
Another big advantage: Unlike most other ski areas, you don't
need to book for a whole week - in Hallein you are just as
welcome if you stay only for the weekend.

Dürrnberg bei Hallein: The Dürrnberg near Hallein:
The low price ski slopes of the Zinkenkogel are only about
7km away from Hallein. Here the guests will find 2 T-bar lifts,
1 chair lift, 1 baby lift, 1 half pipe, and well prepared
slopes for beginners and experts.

Salzburger Super Ski Card: Change your ski destination
daily. For the biggest ski alliance in Austria you need only
one ticket. 290 ski lifts and 570 km of well-prepared slopes
give you a big choice. You can borrow your ski-equipment directly at the skirental next to the lift station.
It takes you about half an hour by car to go there, but accommodation is cheaper outside the big ski ressorts.

The Grenzland-Loipe at Bad Dürrnberg 800m above sea level
