Nordic Walking promotes good health. The “Power Tour” runs right past us, with other marked routes on the other side of Salzach (300 m away). This is also an ideal place to go jogging.
The Tauern
Cycle Path leads
directly past our hotel (300 m), which is therefore ideally situated
for a rest in our large guest-garden.
Combine your cycle-tour with a visit to an interesting
attraction .
You are going for a short walking or mountain bike tour? Well, why not look into a Salzburg
mountain inn afterwards for something hearty to eat, like
a "Brettljause". (Served on a wooden plate; a big
slice of bread garnished with pork, bacon, cheese, horse-radish
and chilies.)
HALLEIN-Rif is a very popular small golf course that's great for
practicing your game.
For the very sportive traveller we can recommend a Hohe Göll mountain climbing tour.The long distance alpine trail from Berchtesgaden to Salzburg passes just a short way above the hotel and can be accomplished
in 7 days.
Replenish your energy by swimming or just lying in the sun.
If it's hot and you are craving for a cool relaxing swim, you
can visit the public pool at Schloss Wiespach. The lakes
of the Salzkammergut can be reached by car within three
quarters of an hour. Our crystal clear mountain lakes are certainly somewhat colder but then they are embedded in
breathtaking landscape and worth a visit.

Museum at Hallein with its exhibits showing excavations

who wrote the music to the world famous carol "Silent Night"
at the Silent Night Museum in Hallein.
