The Salzburg Festival offers a full breadth of exceptional operatic, theatrical and concert performances, hosted over a relatively compressed timeframe of five to six weeks during the summer. The Pernerinsel in Hallein is one of the venues.
The Schlosskonzert are with over 320 concerts a year, held in the most beautiful concert
hall – the Marble Hall at Mirabell Palace, one of the world's
largest concert series.Famous artists – for example
- Igor Oistrach, Benjamin Schmid, Joerg Demus and Clemens Hagen
and world famous ensembles like the Bartok Quartet, Kocian Quartet,
Voces Quartet and members of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestras are playing the most beautiful pieces by Mozart and his
contemporaries.
