2nd day: Let us take you back 2000 years with a visit to the fascinating
Salt Mine at Bad Dürrnberg. See how the Celts lived
in the
Celtic village and visit the
Celtic Museum at
Hallein with its exhibits showing excavations and archaeological
findings. Discover how the Celts and later the archbishops of Salzburg excavated salt and financed the extension of Salzburg city.
3rd day: Use the public bus for a ride to Salzburg ( Price per
person € 1, the bus-stop is in front of the house) and
start your personal sightseeing tour with the
24-hour Salzburg Card. It will grant you free entry to
all attractions like for instance Mozart's Birthplace, the
fortress "Hohensalzburg" or Hellbrunn Palace with its
world-famous trick fountains etc.
4th day: Departure.
