Travel to Hallein

by Car

If your GPS can't find "Salzburger Strasse 42", then simply type in: "Salzquellenweg" or "Salzachtal Bundesstrasse Nord 24".
coming from Munich or Vienna:
Take the "Salzburg Süd" exit of the autobahn (Exit 8) following signs for Anif. After ca. 700m, turn right at the traffic light in Anif. Stay on the B159 in the direction of Hallein for around 5 km. You will see our hotel on the left-hand side.
coming from the south (Villach): 
Take the Hallein exit off the autobahn (Exit 16). Keep straight at the first two roundabouts.
At the third roundabout, turn right towards Salzburg (first exit) on the B159. Continue straight at the traffic light. At the center of the bridge, make a right in the direction of Salzburg. At the roundabout, take the second exit following signs for Salzburg.
After ca. 3 km (from the last roundabout), you will see our hotel on the right-hand side of the road.

by Air

From Salzburg Airport, take the No. 10 trolleybus (towards "Salzburg SAM") as far as the "Rathaus" stop, followed by a 50-meter walk to the ÖBB bus stop "Rathaus", where you will get on the No. 170 bus (Salzburg – Golling line) as far as the "Auwirt" stop (Au, Hallein)

Or take a taxi – the taxi fare is about € 35. ca. 20 min by car, no direct bus or train.

by Rail

as far as the Hallein halt for regional trains, or Salzburg Main Station if you are traveling on an IC or EC train. Than continue by bus no. 170 to our hotel. Train information is available by calling Tel. No. 051717 or through Austrian Railways (ÖBB).

by Bus

"Auwirt" bus stop (Au, Hallein) is right in front of our hotel. No. 170 bus from Salzburg to Golling. Timetable information is available from Salzburg Public Transport. The fare from Salzburg to Hallein is € 3.90.

200 m from the Tauern Bike Path, 3 km to Hallein from the south.
